Aussies, 2 fa 195 at tea.

Clarke has struggled to 20 against good short pitch bowling from Morkel. Steyn has been off the field for a fair bit of the day.

Another 120+ from Warner. I hope doesn't throw it away, he deserves at least 200 the way he been playing lately.

Perhaps one of Clarke's better innings.

I took a lot of balls from Morkel on the body, head and hands, and is still there. It would be good to see him and Smith go on to get tons tonight.

still there at drinks and motoring nicely

Smith seems in a bit of a mood with a few 6s, looking like a BIG first innings

Aaahh, the planets are all falling into alignment.  I don't care what the international cricket team ratings are, as long as we beat SA on their home turf all will be good.

Another one bites the dust: Graeme Smith to retire from international cricket after this match. The aussie team has left some carnage in its wake this summer.

Everybody has written the proteas off and I hope there right. But if one side could bat all day it would be this one, will feel more secure if and when they get de villers.
Here for a good time, not a long time!

I'll be happier when Faf is out too, having flash backs of Adelaide a few years ago

Havn't seen a field like this for a while,  9 behind the wicket.

Unlike Adelaide a few years ago, 10 South African wickets fell in the second innings. Great effort to win a series against the best team going around for the last 5 years. And the first series SA have lost in 5 years. Now for the T20 world cup!

Sounds like they really lifted in the end. Harris especially as his knee is apparently shot completely now.

Was a long night but worth it,  last wicket fell at 2.55am, 5 overs left.
Just in time, only had one stubbie left.
