What about those tiny tent pegs that come with anything made from canvas/ nylon and the featherweight plastic hammer to drive them in.  No, I never bought a plastic hammer.

The plastic 6 egg holder. It only Made omelettes. And that was before we left home. :)
We took 2 of these touring through cape york. I think one broken egg for the whole trip. We kept them in the drawers rather then in the fridge though.

I was trying to help. With the egg  thing. Wifey had complained about a soggy egg carton from an Eskimo and ice. We get farm free range eggs. And they don't fit!!

We use the egg holders and have found them better than soggy egg cartons and less broken eggs the large size eggs not x large usually fit ok maybe we are just lucky with them.  As for Toasters do not like the round base one that holds 4 pieces of bread and does nothing but make it seem stale.  Do like the mesh ones after just using them on first trip on the weekend.

X2. Best egg holder this side of a chook! ! We put a bit of bubble wrap inside the lid for added protection.
Their bread box and cheese containers are also great. Fully sealed, so no mouldy or stale food.
Great products IMHO!

Yep, he had a 50/50 chance to get it correct and still couldn't turn room temp bread into toast to make toast soldiers for the boiled eggs he so lovingly transported in his magic bubble wrapped egg transportation system.

Pretty simple really.
Don't see how you could get it wrong.......
 ;D ;D
Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....

it does say 'cook bread on each side until toasted' ....... doesn't say on each side of what though?

For those who need help with the camp toaster ;D

I'm fine with step one, its the other steps i can't get right ;D

It's still the most useless camping gadget, but i have found a use for it; needed an aerial for the ute, so I bent the stupid toaster thing into the shape of Australia, bunged it onto the car and bingo, I can now get Italian Radio and 3KZ................

......that reminds me, gotta get me one of those stickers with the tram on it >:D ;D

Got to step in and stand beside you brickiemat.    I've never bought a toaster that was so flash it came in a packet, and as such have never seen the instructors above....

And even if I did I would have chucked them out because who needs instructions to make toast rights?

Lol but I am making some great now that I've got it mesh down... :cup:

yeah, but the original question still remains, can you make toast when ya camping yet?
Just leaving the loaf of bread out in the sun doesn't count either...... ya dufus.

I don't think anyone has mentioned wind-up/dynamo torches?
We had a wind-up lantern for a short time and a also small torch..."no more batteries" was the mantra.

Reality is you get RSI winding up the buggers, they are dimmer than a room full of reality TV stars, and you are lucky to get halfway to the toilet block before you have to wind it up again.....
