Guys i have a perplexing issue in our new house
I am wondering if i have a dodgy circut or other
Whenever it rains or there is very high humidity my range hood will stop working and one of my LED downlights in the kitchen.
The other downlights, powerpoints and everything else that runs off the same circuit breaker according to the box runs as normal regardless of weather conditions.
Have changed the control module and buttons on the range hood but same issue persists, if the down light did not flicker i would write it off as a dodgy range hood however the correlation between the range hood, downlight and weather condition seems more than coincidental

Is the rangehood vented to outside?
If so, did they install a small hood over the outside vent?
This was not done on my kitchen reno, and during very heavy rain and wind - water would work it's way into the rangehood, (via about 1.5mtrs of flexi ducting) - and causing all sorts of issues...

id say its some kind of moisture in the roof, the down light should be on the light cct and the range hood on the power cct as they are usually just a plug top to a power point.
