Changed the alligator clamps on my new thumper compressor to an anderson plug. Set my auto deflators and installed a dash cam in my father's car. I also rewired his UHF that he'd done himself (terrible job).

Haha. Terrible job. My old man does the same then we have to fix it afterwards.

Nah, the heavy duty longevity pack.
Petrols had leather, deisels didn't.
Leather wheels and knobs also came with a pair of leather chaps..... ;D

That is a good price. :cup:
What's the $$ on a new wheel?? :o

I had a leather SAAS wheel years ago on my XB. Lovely to use, but went very shabby from sun and sweat.

Been busy this weekend. Made some wallets for a few mates and one for my brother. Kangaroo leather.
And a few other sheaths.

nice work...not interested in making a carpenters nail bag are you?. My old nail bag was an awesome piece of leather work made by a guy who used to sell them out th back of his vehicle as he drove from jobsite to jobsite, that thing lasted me over 10 years. Replaced that after it finally had to many holes in it with something from a local tool shop, about one year on and it's already rooted and needs replacing  ::) ::)

Cheaper for you to buy from dealers or stealers.

Never made one. Can't be that hard. You still got the old one as a sample?

Unfortunately I threw that old one out.....the design is similar to what I now have, just the modern material is rubbish. I have my old hammer holder and chisel holder pouch I would like replicated also though, can take photos of it all and see if you are interested in making one and what you think it might cost me to get you to do so if you like.

Some more photos of sets. That just about finishes this show.
Just some touchups to do and a few little modifications then in 4 weeks show time.

Finished 4 weeks out. I thought the standard was finishing painting as the set is rolling on during opening night. Must have an organised set designer / director

Yes Raym,
usually the last bit is "watch out the paint is still wet" as the curtain goes up but not this year for me. I have been working on this set  since November last year but have built 3 other shows in between. This is so far my pride and joy. Lots of cool stuff that operates electrically and via  radio control. In 4 weeks we will be finished the show run and be at the after party.
The set designer is typing this post and the director is put under pressure to tell me what he wants early so I get time to make the best sets possible which includes research on techniques and process and how to do things where to get materials and parts.
The Addams Family is a cool show and it is the first time in 16 years we are in a real theatre and not just in a school auditorium (which is quite a good one but is limited by tech and no fly tower so it is a big deal for us. The cast is a youth cast 15-25yo and the show is going on at West Gippsland Arts Center in Warragul Oct 7th-9th (4 shows only) Opps that was a shameless plug.
Bugger it no shame in plugging something you are proud of!!
It has been fun and challenging creating and building  this one.

NLMS  ( Nagambie Lakes Mens Shed  ) Finished the 1st stage of the road base ramp to all doorways for wheel chair access . The pressure water cleaning of the floor so we can seal the  floor of the workshop is completed . Our attention has been turned to the plaster work on the disabled toilet to get that finished . Then we will start to construct the walls required to enclose the wood working machine room . Got to love setting up another shed  :cup:

Drop the longranger tank to replace a broken return line fitting.  Got about 100 liters in it.
