Another Top End Newbie
« on: August 31, 2013, 07:57:39 PM »
Hello all Swaggers,
I have been lurking around the site for quite a while and seeing as our new Vacation Off Road Passage is not far from being built thought it time to introduce ourselves.

We are a Top End family from Katherine NT and after many, many months of research and "can we afford it's" took the plunge a few weeks ago and ordered a Vacation Off Road Passage with a few options, namely -
Gull Wing tool box on the front of my own design
Bike rack between tool box and stone guard
Extra room
Tropical roof
DO35 hitch
Dual Batteries
Some extra 12 volt outlets
Some others I can't recall right now!

It will be painted in a Hammertone Blue which will be very close to our 07 Ford Ranger tow tug.

The only problem is that family in Qld will be picking it up for us and we won't actually see it until Christmas!

Many thanks to Theo, Pauline and Kim at Vacation Campers for all their help, needless to say we can't wait!

Cheers
JonnyB

Welcome Johnnyb, you've bought a good CT.
It was in our final 4 options. Look forward to hearing about your trips.

We ordered it in July and it will be ready in 2 weeks and this will be our first CT, we have been tent users and just thought it was time for an upgrade.

We will do a few local trips before hitting the Gibb River Road next year.  We are regulars around Mataranka way.

Thanks for the welcomes guys.
