Saw this at the show yesterday. It's a game changer I think. It quite expensive so I suppose that will be an issue but it's a 2.6kva remote start generate in a vibration and noise suppressing box. Set up ready to hang of a chassis or be mounted in a caravan or camper.
Push button start from the remote panel ;D , 54 db when running ;D. $4500 :-[

I'll have to sell my house first to get one.

I think these are more likely aimed at the bigger caravan/ motor home people?
Maybe competion for the Onan generators?
Cheers

Yeah but you can still power all your house appliances with it at your campsite ;D

I don't think so. It's a more compact package than my Honda 2.0 except for the remote fuel tank. I saw one in a van boot but could well imagine one in one of the more upmarket campers. If this lives up to its rap you'll only need to run one battery and no invertor. Solar not cutting it just hit the button and charge up while the wifes using the hair dryer then switch off.

Wow, can see all the grey nomad caravan owners lining up for one of those. @MarkVS - these have your name written all over them ;D
Guess a positive for the campers, like me, is that these generators are fairly quiet so their use may impact the rest of us less.

44kg seems bloody heavy!!! That would eat up alot of the weight you can have in your van while travelling

Yep plus fuel? But current gen must be 20-25kg and in my case I'd ditch one deep cycle so there'd be little diff

Sounds like your gunna need an extra axle if you take one of these along.
Forget about taking the single axle van or camper.
