The new CTA has arrived & as usual Its chocked full of bit ti excite the CT Users all over the place .
There is a top artical on a Swaggers build from an old Kombi .  Really great to see the planing that has gone into the rig , best of all the idea to recycle the carcus to bring new life to it .  :cup: :cup:

My favorite mag by far. Carlisle's editorial is very refreshing and the general content and lack of bias is top notch.

Already read most of it and I've only been home a couple of hours.

Ps. Not on commission either :)

I suppose the original idea was seeing ute-trays used as trailer tubs. A ute tray is much the same shape as the section of kombi I used, except that the chassis and suspension is built into the kombi. The kombi is pretty straight sided and the height was about right, so it made a lot of sense. I think if I were to tackle it again I would use a ute tray and build a chassis for it underneath. Trying to convert a kombi was pretty difficult.

maybe we need a campertrailer mag section, so everytime a mag comes out we wont need a new thread for it.
