G'day from Narangba QLD
« on: November 09, 2020, 09:11:41 AM »
Hi. Just joined to do some i investigations into campers. We are a family of 4 that usually goes off grid just using a tent as have Ranger all set up with solar and water. However, starting to get a bit older now and want to do more touring trips so large canvas tent is not ideal. We are currently looking at hybrids, being the Jawa Sirocco, Jawa Infinity 15 and also the Swag Raptor X15 and hoping to view their new model shortly, the SCT16-XF. Both brands to seem to pack a lot of features for the price. I know they are both made in China, but they seem to have a lot of fit out here in Australia and their service and backup from reviews is outstanding, unlike some other brands. Both brands seem to be ok for the Ranger in regards to towing weight. We did look at the Royal Flair Raptor Toy Hauler, but for $110K and an ATM of 3600kg, it was out of the question. I will pop in another topic about our Ranger in other section.

Welcome

When buying anything - demand a weighbridge ticket to prove the weight is accurate... some are up there with the toothfairy.
