G'day from Manjimup, WA
« on: January 01, 2017, 09:27:46 PM »
Hi All,

I picked up a secondhand camper trailer top for $600 and had a John Papas trailer built with 500mm sides and longer drawbar for $1600. Just had my second family trip in it over xmas.

I got to build sliding drawers underneath, its a PITA climbing in and out under the trailer.

I'm planning a trip from WA to Adelaide next xmas, so plenty of mods and improvements needed before then.

Regards

Brenden

BTW: I've attached a picture of my camper. I'm hoping someone might be able to identify the brand or model.

Thanks for the comments about the camper. It is so easy to setup.

Fold it out and extend the poles in the ground area until the spring clips lock. Peg it down. Done.

Unfortunately the ground was so hard in Walpole, I bent half of my 8mm pegs.

I would like to make a hard floor for it, but need to work out how to do it without adding too much weight.
