Another butane stove recall

I use one to get the heat beads going for the bbq

I use fire starters and a match for that..

Go away for the weekend and pull out the cooker. Pretty sure Mother in law was last to use it. One of the burners had rattled loose and as I went to put it on this is what I found.

Surely someone would of thought that don’t sound right.


She also packed the non stick hot plate upside down so the pot supports scratched the surface. She also lost the handle for picking up the hot plate.

Bloody Mother in Laws. Just can't trust em. Mine on the other hand gave us there new never used, been in the cupboard U-Bute double burner stove with the hot plate. Winner winner chicken dinner.

Did you or them undo the ally burner ring ? I see they were nice enough to put the  retaining bolt back l in place ..
Kind of reminds me of a couple of nice Dutch / German backpacker  girls set up camp beside us on Fraser one year,  sitting a cook pot on the top ring Grab handle of a 4.5 Kg gas bottle,  turning the gas tap on and lighting it ..
They couldnt work out why I got a bit excitable and turned it off on them, They had been trying to heat up noodles like this for a couple of days ..
Digging  around in their gear we found the burner that was supposed to screw onto the gas bottle and set it up for them, They were amazed at how quick it heated up their food .

I put the screw back in after I found it rolling around the case.
They always loosen off
