I’m heading off for 10 days at Frazer Island in April.
Being self employed I will need to work to keep things ticking along.
To do this I need internet access however last time I was there I received phone coverage at Orchid Beach however couldn’t use my data for some reason.
Does anyone have any suggestions in being able to use mobile phone hotspot to obtain data whilst there
Thanks

You'll likely get better coverage at Eurong as they have a tower there from memory, no idea how well internet works there though as I usually switch my phone off on the island.

Telstra reception at happy valley, don’t know about data though. We get the best at Eurong so all the emails and messages come through on the way home

Go sit in the hotel at Kingfisher bay should work there.

Wished I could Rumpig - get to do that over Christmas but these holidays are give and take. Hopefully more beers and time off then working.
Thanks for the feedback guys

Maybe do a drive out the back of Orchid to Wathumba, being on the Western side of the island you might get decent reception from Hervey Bay.

Orchid has a Telstra tower now. Data works fine.

The wife had good internet reception north of Dilli village, Eurong and parts North, around happy valley beach front, patchy at Eli creek, patchy at Eugarie camp zone, there was supposed to be a repeater tower going in at Dundaburra camp ground too [ might pay to check that ], ocean lake , South Ngkala rocks and from memory at Indian head .
Western side Kingfisher, patchy at Platypus bay .. Might pay to get an aerial booster on the truck and link to it, Blue tick samsung S5 phone no booster last year .
