2015 Cape York
« on: August 03, 2014, 04:18:47 PM »
I would love to be able to start planning for a 2015 Cape trip, and although it may be to soon for the regular crew of My Swaggers. With long service ready to take either way I have Northern expectations. but would love to experience and learn along side a bunch who contribute to making this forum one if not the best of its type. :cup:

Hey forest,

I would love to do a Cape York trip next year.

If your interested, I have a 4 week trip itinerary already done.

I can email it to you if you would like to look it over.

Is it an open invitation to other swaggers or just a family trip?

Just read on another site ( Exploreoz ) that the written off vehicle count for the Old Telegraph Track this season is 39.  Interesting ! Trying to find out specifics but some may assume they would be mostly drowned vehicles.

The Four Walls are pondering a trip and are thinking a Myswag adventure could be a great and safe way to start our touring.

Us 6. I am hoping for a trip in June for 4 weeks from Port Macquarie. We are doing it with the 4 kiddies age 7 through to 16. I need to do a lot of prep to my truck and might need to swap the camper for a full off roader. But I am keen as musted, planning this trip to celebrate my 40th birthday.

Cheers Matt

I think you will find with each season at least 50 myswag members will traverse the cape york region, so keep a keen eye out for stickers and you will see/meet many members no doubt. ;D ;D

So far looks like a June date. I was thinking August & probably thinking October was getting on the late side ,( to hot). Perhaps some firm dates should be thrown out there as a starting point? I'm pretty flexible, no kids just work dependent, but with enough forward planning should be good chance
Maverick, perhaps post up your proposed itinerary, that might get some juices flowing
