pioneer campers anyone had problems????
« on: May 28, 2012, 09:04:08 AM »
Well it all started about 8/9 weeks ago ordered a new stone guard paid a 50% deposit to have it made,  drove the 1600km to Perth to pick it up and had been sold, tried to palm off a secondhand one as a new one ,was in Perth for 2 weeks the new one came in 3 days after i left (funny that) paid the final $100 of the
$765 yep that's right $765
now that was 2 weeks ago and as yet the bloody thing is still sitting at PIONEER CAMPERS in Perth, now they are saying that the freight company hasn't picked it up yet but i would be thinking that for a company that makes it's money from delivering freight it would do a pick up asap????
With hopeless customer service when i do go to a hard floor camper in a couple of years sorry but PIONEER CAMPERS you won't even get alook in your Perth dealership is absolutely pathetic  >:D

Ask for a 100% complete refund as your going to buy something else, see how quickly that changes their tune.

Pioneer were taken over by a mob in Victoria so maybe contact them, I'm sure they would like to know about dodgy dealers in there network, and $765 for a stone guard is a bit rich.

Yes, I'd be going to the Victorian owners and asking for an explanation. The price alone is exorbitant.

I have contacted Allan from the Victoria dealership who put me on
To Nils Ericson ( manager of pioneer) and I have to say that
Both men have been very apolagetic and helpful I have emailed
Nils
with dates ect and he his on the phone sorting the problem out
(hopefully) . Allan and Eric were both concerned at the issue
So I'm feeling a bit better.
Yes $765 is a lot but living up here things need to be good but you have to wonder if it's worth it.
Happy camping people.....
