preparing for next trip
« on: November 25, 2010, 04:37:20 PM »
Hello all, our trip preparations are getting serious.  Got home from work today and Kev had the new solar panel (sourced thru this website, and bought from Mandrake- great service 8)), all set up and charging .  A bit excited.  Think it will travel on the shelf of the cargo barrier- now what to do with the pillows?   Last wk got home to find the new Jimmys' thunderbox set up in the garage.  Will replace the bit unstable fold up loo, also have a chemical porta loo.  Have ordered our myswag stickers, waiting to arrive, so we can stick em on with pride.  Now just have to finish work, I think we both have about 20 shifts to go, then get thru xmas etc, head off 20 Jan.  This trip to Tassie, will stop along the way to visit a few people we met on last trip to NT.  Can't wait to reply 'oh , for as long as we like', when asked by fellow travellers how long we are tripping for.  Previously have had to reply, got to be back for work on such and such a date.  Yeah, happy campers  :police: (well we nurses are angels aren't we?)
