Combination of ORAC.... TO a Ozhitch..can it be done
« on: November 24, 2010, 06:21:46 PM »
Is there any way that you can attach the OzHitch self centre latch onto your towbar tongue AND utilise an existing ORAC hitch  ???

It might be best to contact Norm and get some measurements. You would be lucky if every thing aligns up for you.

I've just replaced my Orac with an Ozhitch.

For what it's worth, the cost to remove the Orac hitch on the camper and have the Ozhitch fitted was less than $150.

This included all grinding/welding and a coat of undercoat around the newly fitted Ozhitch.

Now to tape up and respray the drawer bar and it will look as if the Ozhitch has been there forever!

I doubt the "marriage" between the Orac and Ozhitch will work and will probably end up with there being a "divorce" sooner than later!
