Interactive Map of Oz
« on: August 06, 2019, 08:51:07 AM »
G'day, I want to produce a map of Australia with some of the tracks we have done highlighted on it. The issue I have is that it needs to be done online.

Does anyone know of a site that has such a feature? I also use a Mac.

Thanks.

4.2L TD Toyota Troopy, (Clarke's Country Camper Trailer, softfloor.) sold it and bought a Avan Ray small poptop caravan. I miss being able to acces the little tracks off into the scrub.

GPS Visualizer may help your cause:

If I can steal your thread: does anyone have a lead for a gpx file animator? I would like to produce animated tracks on a map.
I've seen it done, but have drawn a blank on how to.

Depending on what are looking for, Memory Map can do this.

You can upload the GPX track, the use 3d mode to show the map as if you are riving along it in 3d. You could try it for free. It works on any maps you have bought or imported. You also need to import height data which is one click.

If you have the GPX coordinates you can use a service called uMap which uses openstreetmao as the base layers. it's been a while since I did it but it's possible. You can also handraw on the map too. You can download GPX from googlemaps from memory
