Day Trip - Bridle 4wd Track
« on: June 30, 2011, 12:06:40 PM »
This is a scenic journey more than a hard 4wd track but offers some stunning scenery along the way as well as the views from atop the climb.

It is a PAR (Public Access Route) that runs between Melrose and comes out on the Westen side of the Flinders Ranges about half way between Mambray Creek and Pt Germein.

The view from Hancook's lookout will also be incorprated into this trip for those that want to venture further than just the lookout itself.

We did this track at the recent SA MySwag meet and all agreed that it was a lovely trip well worth doing!

Good stuff.
So much to see, reckon the kids cameras will get worn out.
Cheers
You don't use magic to disappear, all you need is a 4wd & a Swag ;)
