Newbie from Germany
« on: November 06, 2013, 06:14:33 AM »
Hello everybody,

my name is Frank. Since last year I have a customline 9 foot tent on an offroad-trailer. We ( me,my wife and our 13 year old daughter) use it manly on weekends for going climbing or off-roading and on summer holiday. After many years camping with a tent, we went to a roof-tent on our Land Rover, changed to a larger roof-tent to have more room for the daughter, put the larger tent on a Sankey-trailer for more loadspace and finally sold it because it was too small. Than we had to decide what´s coming next: camper-van or again tent. And the decision was made to a camper-trailer and we like it very much.

Cheers

Frank

@ ausiwaz   You can translate it as  " Hallo ........., herzlich Willkommen bei myswag "

Pictures will come. I first have to walk around here a little bit to see how it works. My main problem is the time I need, because I have a lot of work at business for the moment.
In winter I intend to install a kitchen, so I hope to find some inspirations here and it is sure that a couple of questions will follow.

Cheers

Frank

Hello Jim,

I live in Mannheim, which is about 70km south of Frankfurt and about 350km North-west of Munich.
Mannheim is by the river Rhein near the french border.

Cheers
