It didn't start raining till around 9.00 p.m where we were at Sunnybank, i was watching the radar and saw you guys copping the storms further South of us earlier though. Forgot the game was on and only listened to the last 5 minutes of it on the bus ride back to our car

Congratulation to JT for winning the Dally M for the third time.  He has been a great ambassador and role model for the game.

Along with joint winner Jarrod Haynes for 2nd time, as for a role model maybe over the last few years when back at NQ yes, but certainly not in his days at the bulldogs

no different to any other team in the league IMHO. There's always a few junior players who've come through the ranks and made it to the big league, but most teams have bought players to fill roles in certain positions.

I agree, it was a bit boring. But a boring game of AFL is better that a good game of NRL

TV Ratings might disagree with you there. More so when you consider the much smaller fan base of league.

IMO I like both codes and generally an average afl game is a better watch than an average NRL game. But a cracker NRL sh1+s on everything else, something like origin!

Go the doggies.

Here for a good time, not a long time!

That says more about the mentality of those fans IMO, why you'd wanna watch a training session FFS isn't there anything better to do?

Last years SOO got  4m tv viewers  For basically a NSW /QLD sport!

Cause some games are average and in Sydney and Brisbane we have beaches and sunshine and all those other more inviting things to do?
