where to stay in melbourne (close to etihad)
« on: October 17, 2017, 06:01:53 PM »
hi all,

i have tickets to the foo fighters in melbourne (at etihad) in january and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a nice place to stay, within reasonable walking distance to the stadium?

it's for my 40th, so four star or above would be OK... :)

probably for three nights...

any help appreciated...

There is a Quest basically sitting right next to Etihad which I have stayed at through work and we have stayed at Ridges Travelodge which is also nearby which seemed like good value at the time.

There is also some great apartments with nice views for rent in the area too. At least you can self cater I bit and save some money. Maybe try Air BnB for rentals.

Search airbnb for apartments in South Wharf, short walk, or Docklands, across the road.

Sounds too hard to get a place.... How about you sell me the tickets as I have a mate that lives at the Docklands and I could stay with him.

This is a much better idea!!!!
