I  am grateful that I still have a job, and the technology to work from home.

An the CT mods should be completed by time we are able to travel again.

Today and in the future I will be grateful for NDIS approval for financial assistance for the wife’s Parkinson’s. We can look toward some household changes to ensure we can stay in our own home and ongoing therapy to try and slow the disease. The last few months have been pretty confronting to say the least.

That's awesome.
It will make a world of difference to you guys.
I contract to a NDIS Provider, I install home aids, ramps, grab rails in showers/bathrooms & toilets, these alone make life just that little bit mpre easy.
The smiles on people's faces when I have finished.
So many things we take for granted.
That's awesome Pottsy.

Those are the things we are looking forward too, fall prevention is a real issue, we have a meeting tomorrow to start the ball rolling towards a full assessment of the house by an occupational therapist.

I am grateful that my Father is out of ICU in Canberra after having emergency surgery for a dissecting aortic aneurysm at 79 years of age. Not out of the woods yet but a lot better than it looked three days ago.

I'm actually grateful for Centrelink. For the first time in my life at 48, I needed to register for benefits because of this damn virus, and it has actually gone rather smoothly. So I do not have to survive on the two days a week income that I am currently getting.
We've swapped from the camper to a van yay! :)

I am grateful that after years of saying I am going to learn to play the Ukulele that in Feb i joined a local group and had lessons all before this "Challenge in life" that we are all going through. I now have another fun thing to do whilst in Iso, and by the way I am still enjoying learning another skill. Keep safe and happy.
Cheers

I am grateful that I have a life long friend that sends me things like this.

Decide what it is you want,
Write it down.
Make a plan and work on it every single day.

I,m grateful that things are looking good for Australians. Low death rate and a seemingly slowing down of infection rates means we may get back to a relatively normal life in the coming months...and that means CAMPING AGAIN.....bring it on!!!
Having lots of friends on farcebook is the same as having lots of money in monopoly...means absolutely nothing!!

Like hundreds of thousands of other aussies we are itching to get out and do the things we love.  Thats why I get pissed off with the head dead who go out and flaunt the rules.  Hopefully July-August things might be good enough for the bush to be open again

For work yesterday I went to Talumbi, on the way from Gulmarrad to Brooms Head, as I came back(3.30pm), 4x 4x4's towing dual axel caravans were heading towards Brooms Head, all were qld plated vehicles,
What are they doing? Where do they think they are going?
Anyway that is for the rant thread.

My mum who is 91, is in a hospital ward after going through a major op for colon cancer 2 weeks ago. She had another major op 50 years ago for the same thing. Chemo wasn't even invented back then. Funny how it can take 50 yrs to return ??
Expected to make a full recovery and be back home ( on her own ) in a matter of weeks !!

My Mum had the same thing at 89.

She's 97 in August and going strong.

Try and zip my Mum for 10 cents in her change and see how self propelled she is.
It won't just be her being propelled.  :D

Sounds like my dear old mum. Many a salesperson came unstuck thinking that the quietly-spoken little old lady they were dealing with was an easy target... ;D ;D
