Title: Yet another new Jayco newbie
Post by: Robp69 on December 26, 2010, 01:59:54 PM
Hi Guys,

Really enjoying the input that you guys are putting into discussing your different campers, thought I'd join and get involved as well

I have a '10 Swan on road with a bush pack that still requires a few more subtle changes to make it just right for us. Seen a couple of mods on here that looks just great

All the Best

Rob

Welcome to the forum.

What's included in the "Bush" pack, is it similar to the "Outback" packs?

Hi Gunna,

IIRC it includes 6" frame, shockies, 8" jockey, underslung axle & mudflaps. Unsure if there's a difference, it's what is on my invoice?!?!?

Was a cheap option from the April Caravan and camping show in Perth this year

Regards

Rob

Hi Rob

Welcome to MyJayco eeeerrrr  MySwag  ;D

Plenty of Jayco info and mods for you here,   HHMMM   "Bush Pack"  ain't heard of that  must some thing they've come up with lately, sounds similar to "Outback" other than 15'wheels Chequer Plate sides and Jerry holder.

G'Day Bushman,

Cheers, I had to pay for the 15" wheels myself at a cost of $600 + the bush pack was on special for $200.

I'm missing the Alko corner stays, & chequer plate. Swapped the Jerry for an extra 9kg bottle and had an extra water tank thrown in.

I was aiming for the Outback however went way over budget for what I have now, originally went to buy a Cavalier and the missus talked me out of it

Cheers,

It's the reason why it's setup in the driveway :)

Watered it down twice, waiting for it to dry out completely then off to cape preston for new years. I believe that's the way to do it, anyone for alternative suggestions?

Yes, have nearly forgotten what they look like.

that's all you see for about 8 months a year over here. boring-ass blue sky!

I love it! Growing up in england, even on a "hot" (about 28C) summer day there was always little fluffy clouds in the sky - but the wall-to-wall blue sky is fantastic!
