Favourite PS/X Box/computer games
« on: January 29, 2016, 08:06:47 PM »
I have finished a couple of games lately (on PS4) and am looking to what next. Just wondering what everyone else is in to and might recommend. By a long way my favourite has been The Last Of Us with Dying Light second. I'm into the games with a story behind the missions. Didn't like Far Cry 4 as much and didn't like The Evil Within. Here is what I currently have.

1 The last of us
2 Dying light
3 Fallout 4 (purchased today so haven't played yet)
4 Driveclub (played once)
5 Bradman cricket
6 Star Wars Battlefront
7 Plants vs Zombies (online play only  :'( )
8 Monopoly
9 Helldivers (SWMBOs game)
10 FIFA 15 (came in PS4 pack and still in plastic never opened)

So tell me what you have and what you like.
SWMBO reminds me of a Prodigy song....

I've just finished God of War III remastered on Ps4.  I play a bit of driveclub, but I'm still waiting for GT7.

What, did the forum get taken over by a bunch of 12 years tonight :-)

I'm on metal gear solid, ps4 at the moment. Wife has just finished kill zone.
Being playing GTA online with my son in Sydney a bit also.
And Iracing on the PC is my biggest thing I do at the moment, racing league Tuesday nights, GT3 cars and I normally host a few practice sessions for the league on either Friday or Saturday nights.

And camping games on iPad,  construction simulator can fill a few hours when you want some alone time and you don't read books. ;D

I raced online for many, many years.
The game on PC, was Grand Prix legends, which came out in 1998.
Requirements were a Pentium 166. When it was launched, GPL required quite high-end hardware. While a software renderer was available, for smooth gameplay a 3D card was all but essential, and GPL supported only two types: 3dfx and Rendition

It is more realistic than the more modern games, Iracing and RFactor included.

Many online leagues are still running full seasons today, with many, many mods.

Will have a look. Not an rfactor fan. But iracing is just getting better and better. Dynamic tracks that change throughout the race etc

We used to race on a Tuesday evening, a field of no more than 20, usually 30 to 40 laps, and do a whole GP season.
All week was setting up the car with the right geometry then Qualifying on Monday night.
This is one of the set up tabs within the game.
Just a litre or 3 of fuel too much and you were .5 of a sec out to start with.
