Hennessey VelociRaptor: 6×6 Ford F-150 Raptor unveiled
Quote

The Hennessey VelociRaptor is a new 6×6 off-roading pickup truck that’s based on the Ford F-150 Raptor.

The VelociRaptor is available to order now and is priced from US$295,000 ($387,000). Although that price includes the base vehicle, it’s a steep step up from the four-door Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew that begins at US$52,505 ($68,800).

Modifications made by Hennessey include a 6×6 setup with a locking rear axle, a modified tray, wider wheel arch flares, new front and rear bumpers, 20-inch alloys with off-road tyres, Fox suspension package, a roll bar, and LED lights.

Both the Raptor and VelociRaptor are powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 that makes 336kW of power and 691Nm of torque. That’s an impressive increase of 29kW and 103Nm over the previous Raptor’s 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V8.
For a bit of extra cash, though, Hennessey will fit the 3.5-litre EcoBoost engine with upgraded turbochargers, a new front-mounted air-to-air intercooler, a retuned ECU, and a modified stainless steel exhaust to help it deliver over 450kW (600hp) of power.

Hi,
Put chains, as a track, on the rear wheels, and see where it won't go?

Cheers

Clicked through some photos of the new 'Shelby' F150 yesterday, was thinking that was a waste of money. This thing takes the cake... ::)

Edit:
Please no body tell F-truck boys that their standard motor only makes 29kw like that article says.... ;)
