Finally....
« on: June 20, 2014, 08:00:29 AM »

The weather has turned perfect with a clear blue sky and no wind.

I just have to finish packing and then ready to hit the road tomorrow morning.

Looking forward to the dinner and drinks tonight

Good to see the rainaway is finally working.

Have a great trip and may the mud gods be on your side, may the rivers run deep but not flow fast and the fridges keep the refreshments cool. We will need a heap of pics for us poor plebs that are stuck at work

In your travels - Keep an eye out for my brother in law and his mate too. Both have Patrols with campers. One silver with a Conqueror and the other white with a Lifestyle.
They arrive in Cairns today where the 'handbrake' and kids arrive by plane to meet up and travel the rest if the way together.   Would be ironic if you were to cross paths. Very jealous!!  Enjoy.

Finally sitting down having a beer after packing the car and camper. Nothing like leaving it to the last minute. The packing is not pretty with any bit of space crammed with gear.

I think I have half a Dan Murphy's store and woollies store packed away.

Let the fun begin

Just make sure Mobi is missing Canberra -2 overnight got to a maximum of 14 today but strong winds made it feel like 10. Expecting cold rain over the weekend.

Yes - I wish I was with you. Might go up into the Brindies over the weekend if there is not too mjuch rain and/or snow!
