Has anyone set sail for the meet yet? Or can we be the first and wear the leader's jersey... ;D
Car and camper is all packed and sitting idle ready for pre dawn departure in the morning. We are head round the long way in convoy of 4 vehicles via Dalby (swagmail collection), Longreach, Boulia, Plenty Hwy to Alice, Finke Gorge NP, Kings Canyon, Uluru and Olgas, Mt Dare/Dalhousie, Oodnadatta, Coober Pedy, William Creek, Lyndhurst, Flinders Ranges and arriving at the meet on Saturday 1 Oct.
Plenty to see on the way and looking forward to it all and catching up with everyone at the meet.
See you there and safe travels for us and all of you.

Ding, ding, the starship "HEM" is leaving space dock - heading Wilmington via the "Darling River" system - full impulse.

SWMBO and I are leaving tomorrow (Thursday) to travel to Mt Gambier (catch up with family) with a couple of stops on the way, then Next Thursday leaving Mt Gambier to travel to Wilmington arriving on Friday sometime. 8)
See you all then or on the road, I have a silver 100 series cruiser with a grey camper trailer in tow :D

Safe travels everyone, Wilington is just up the road from us but joimed the forum way too late to be ready... Working!! Will have CT in January and will be hitting the road soon after..... Hope you all have a great time!!

Starhip HEM is currently docked in Wentworth...bugger me but spotted NAV04 going the other way & long story short, we are camped together at the junction of the Murray/Darling sucking on a few coldies.
Long way to travel to meet up with with people who live just up the road.

We left home yesterday afternon and ended up at Denman in the upper Hunter. We spent today at Dubbo, Western Plains Zoo. Currently sitting near Brocklehurst on the Macquarie River at Terramungamine Reserve having a beer and resting the legs.
Will be heading towards Lake Mungo tomorrow for a few days then S.A.
See you on the road or in Wilmington at the end of the week.

.....on the road again.... Actually that should be ........on the boat again....... and then .....on the road again....
All packed and ready to catch the boat tomorrow.
Wednesday will be Melbourne to Mildura.
Thursday we will head along the old mail route to Renmark and then continue through to the Overland Corner.
Should arrive in Wilmington Friday arvo.
