« on: January 06, 2012, 10:54:23 PM »
Hey guys - just wondering if anyone has heard from Brian Rice ( Rodeo2002 ? ) - with the fires raging around Wilmington - I only have his work email and couldn't find him on the Members list ....
Cheers

Steve,

Brian's property is some 20-30 k's away from Wilmington, even so in those hot & dry conditions things happen fast.

Wilmington is not the best place to try & fight a fire , Tuff country . If it gets into the hills all you could do is protect life as best you can .
Stay safe out there

I'm at work at the moment.
From what Ive been told the fire is to the north of Wilmington in the Flinders Ranges.
The country is very rough and would be extremly difficult to fight a fire.
The town ship is on Evacuation alert.

Hope it all ends well for them.

Cheers

Brian
