Anyone else bringing their rod
« on: April 22, 2010, 02:40:54 PM »
Well,

Is anyone else going to try their hand at a feed of fresh seafood

Maybe Kamp Knitting Needles could knit up a net to catch theirs :-*

Fishy I'm keen to wet a line for sure  8) You sound like a capable 'fisherperson' so we shouldn't need a net  ;D No pressure  :-*

Don't talk to me about fishing...the girl wants to do some fishing so we went off to the local camp shop with an up to $200 budget in mind for a new rod and reel for her. Smooth talking salesman hit my girl with the big up sell and b4 I knew it $400+ clams later we now have the ultimate in graphite rods and all the BLING to match....and Raewyn looks like a professional fisherwoman with all her new BLING...(u guys can give her a good razz over her setup and promise I won't say anything about this post >:D )  better catch some damn fish thats all I can say.....salesman on the other hand GOD I loved him, it was like watching poetry in motion....offered him a job and waiting on his reply ;D ;D

Cheers
JT

P.S Can't wait this time next week I'll be standing around the Camper in the garage with a beer in hand wondering what I forgot to pack  ??? ...

I am all about catch and release but that doesn't mean I don't like to fish ;D

Me and Craig aka "Fish Bitch" will be wetting a line in between wetting the tonsils 8)

I am bringing a couple of rods and my $60 special that I have caught more fish in the surf than all the rest combine (and quality too 5 x 1.2kg+ bream in one session >:D)

I love Fraser ..... must have done 5000K+ in the last 5 years on Fraser chasing the Swedish backpackers or a good fishing spot ???

We will be heading up the Cape for a few days of pure fishing heaven on this trip as the locals have forged a new track up that way recently so all are welcome to follow if you care

Thanks
yogi

I'm willing to sit and listen about how good Toyota's are if you're going to be consuming obscene amounts of beer.  This I have to see.  ;D

Good to see I won't be alone on the beach with my rod in hand

I may even be able to perfect my worm catching

It's also good there are some non fishers, as they can do the continous can convoy to the fishers (your a top bloke JK) :cup:

Couldn't help myself so Jody and I started watching the new Fraser DVD that had just turned up to make the last couple of days that bit more unbearable... which worked by the way ;D

It was interesting to see what Roothie pulled in while fishing  ;D >:D
