One thing that is constant, if you own the car/Ute/4wd, you are more likely to look after it. If you rent or it’s paid for by someone else, you will flog the living daylights out of it

This is so very true. So true. The cops swap the rage cages out and put the well cabs back on them before sale. Stickers and lights stripped etc. Very professional job. Before and after is a real Jekyll and Hyde job.

Have seen quote a few LDV vans out on the road, so they must be doing something ok

Must admit, the ute is starting to interest me....
We've swapped from the camper to a van yay! :)

I just sold my fully loaded about 18k would of extra's from bar work to drawers to lifts and list goes on
TRD Hilux with 185k on the clock for 29k it was an 08 and was a weapon of a car that took us on a couple of trips around aus

So it doesn't tick a couple of your boxes it was petrol and it was 08 and 185k but I sold it to a neighbor who will have many years of trouble free motoring I am sure
