I use PIA....Private Internet Access....really good on PC, but I'm not sure how it works on the other platforms.

I use Touch
Works on Windows, Apple, Linux and Android or an extension for Chrome.
It is Free and unlimited.
There are better ones but not free and limited.

vpn.ac for me...

works (via gui client) on windows, mac, android and can be configured via openvpn protocol on linux systems and kodi (links below)...

https://vpn.ac/knowledgebase/22/OpenVPN-on-Linux.html

https://vpn.ac/knowledgebase/100/OpenVPN-on-OpenELECorLibreELEC-Kodi.html

plenty of servers worldwide... can also be configured in custom router software (pfsense, tomato, dd-wrt, etc)...

no restriction on p2p...

and pricing is very reasonable with plenty of payment options...

no affiliation, just a happy user...

PIA here too. I use it on Windows, Linux, iPhone, iPad.

Easy to setup, good throughput, cheap if you pay yearly, and secure (tested it with the security guys at work).

Cheers

PIA on Windows and Android devices. Not much lose of speed with Australian or New Zealand servers.

So I need one of these?

Depends on what content you want to access and how secure you want your internet activity to be...

Each person has a different usage case... I don't use mine all the time, but I do use it for certain situations...

I don't bother... We watch a fair bit of content using Exodus, and to be honest, the legislature about streaming/torrenting is quite specific that if you don't retain a copy locally, there's no issue...
