Identifying myswag members
« on: May 24, 2012, 12:01:25 AM »
Hi all,

I looking for a way to identify myswag members who will at the same caravan park in Cairns as me. Last year I am sure I stayed within 20 metres of other members and didn't know it at the time.

I'll be at Lake Placid caravan park from Thursday 21-6-12. I have a dark red BT50 dual cab. Don't be afraid to say hello.

Bert

We should arrive at Lake Placid on Thursday afternoon, chill out on Friday and tend to any food needs or running maintenance. We'll see you all there ( I wonder if they'll put us up the top again )

Don't worry Bert, I know what you look like  ;D , we are in a Landcruiser ute, V8 diesel, white, with duel spares on the back and a Myswag sticker  :cup:

We will arrive at Lake Placid on Wednesday afternoon. We are driving a white 120-series Prado with a grey CT & maroon & grey tent. I will have myswag stickers on the CT but they might be hidden by the tent. I will keep my eye out for fellow swaggers.

The rego number is a good idea.

Mine is HVG56. I've got a sticker on the rear of the BT50.

I'm going to spend a couple of nights in a budget cabin, luxury compared to a swag.

Maybe we could all go around to Mark's for a few drinks or a barbeque on Thursday or Friday. It's not far from Lake Placid van park. I still remember how to get there.

I would be worried someone would take their revenge and run me off the road.
My alternative to cheap import trailers;

Another easy option is post a pic of your vehicle.

Maybe we all need to put a myswag sticker next to the Jockey wheel mount, easy place to see it when walking around a camp site.
