never mind mate..... next time.... im back home again now!

Ended up using a combination  of the recommendations.

Booked a "towncar" to pick us up from the  airport to drummoyne, then we got a bus back to the city, then train back to the airport...now im back with a happy wife and a full glass!
I can recomend the towncar option .really good.

Good to hear all went well. Funnily enough, we ended up at Birkenhead this morning also - unplanned but necessary trip
