Embarrassingly late intro
« on: January 06, 2019, 07:35:06 PM »
Hi,
I decided that after sniffing around here for 4 years it's time to take care of the formalities. I came across Myswag in late 2015 as I was planning a few long trips with the aim of taking our boys around Australia before starting secondary.

We ended up buying a secondhand O'Brien's on a Carac trailer for $3750 and ended up doing just shy of 40k with no hiccups. One trip Melbourne to Darwin, back via western Qld, the following year back up to Kathrine through the Kimberley; WA coast.

Anyway a few months ago we decided to sell the O'Brien's when we picked up a 2 1/2 year old Camel beachcomber plus that had only be used 4 or 5 times due to health issues. So far the Camel has only had one outing and I forgot to take any photos. As it stands it's pretty much standard only change so far is a custom made toolbox from HQLink on the rear guard and a half completed bedhead on the bench in the shed.

I do have a few pictures of the trusty old O'Brien's though.

Cheers

Ian

It's not an adventure unless something goes wrong.
