Gidday all fellow campers. I am thinking about buying a Camel Trecker Plus camper, does anyone have one that can tell me what they are like ie reliable etc
-
Yep, we have had our Camel Beachcomber for a few years now and absolutely love it.
Have a searching myswag and you will find several threads about them. Company representatives lurk on here as well.
I did a LOT of research and tyre kicking before we bought our and found these to be VERY good value for money. They do not have all the bells and whistles that some do, but in my opinion, half the fun is doing some DIY modifications like LED etc.
They are well built, easy to set up and solid as a rock.
Great company to deal with too.
Best of all......Aussie built trailer and tent.

G'day Woolarg,
We have the Bushman plus (about a year now) and we're still impressed by it. Camel Tow's spot on about the value for money. Build quality is excellent too.
The member on here 'E4WD' (John) is the Vic Camel guy, and 'knows his stuff'. If you haven't already, have a chat with him. Google 'Everything 4WD'.
Good luck witht he decision.

Gday Woolarg,
we bought our camel bushman this year after loads of research and looking at shows. We coudnt be happier. We have 2 kids and get away in it all the time because it makes camping so easy.It flogged down rain over the october long weekend and we hardly got a drop in the tent.
