G'day from Pat at 4WD Touring Australia
« on: October 15, 2013, 09:46:28 AM »
G'day all,
Just a quick note to introduce myself and let anyone interested know I'll be hanging around here a bit from now on. I'm Pat Williams and i work with Carlisle Rogers on 4WD Touring Australia magazine. As some of you would know we've run stories on several MySwag trips before, and we're always keen to know what you guys are up to.

We're always on the hunt for new contributors, and we pay for great content. So if you love getting out there and exploring and can capture it all on camera and string together a good story - then I'd love to hear from you. Any questions whatsoever, drop me a line either on here or at pat@4wdtouring.com.au.

Cheers,
Pat

Hey Pat,

Welcome.  This is a wonderful forum, where laughs,  , arguments in the electrical section, cooking in the camp oven, getting together, and basically anything to do with camping is discussed - sometimes at great length!

P.S.  Suggestion for you mag:  Weekend Warriors ... as not all of us do the Epic Adventure to those Many Places (that have been done like a dinner) because we are still living life in the burbs.

just post what you had for breakfast & lunch, your best jokes... one at a time, start an argument in the electrical thread, throw a few photos in, and you'll hit 25 before you know it  ;D

Cheers fellas. BD I wasn't on the Tolmie trip but I remember seeing the pics afterwards and it looked awesome. Thanks to everyone that's got in touch via email, even if you're not interested in submitting travel stories but would like to see a shot of your rig published, we run a Reader's Rigs comp each month where we publish a winner and runner up. Winner gets a prize pack from Hema, all you gotta do is send in a photo of your vehicle with a brief description of how you've upgraded it and where it's taken you.

Hope to catch up with some more of you soon  ;D
