Near Geelong they have blue posts about 1km from truck rest areas.

In Qld, the red cats eye markers change to green to signal to indicate to take an off ramp.

Hardly any bastard know that but.

Except that the original purpose is not for caravans to pull over.
They were an initiative to hep manage fatigue in heavy vehicles.
