Thank you to all the Swaggers and their families who have served in our armed forces to defend the freedom of not only Australians but others overseas.
To those who have lost their lives and loved ones, a minute hardly seems worthy of what you have sacrificed for us.
May we remember always and never forget and may our children carry the knowledge inside them that good men and women died to preserve what they can freely enjoy today.
Thanks to my brother Ben. Lest we forget.

I cant put a comment on here about this that will have any acceptable myswag words in it. Interrupt morning tea seriously the fact they get to have freedoms and morning tea times etc is because soldiers fought for our country to make it what it is. Add 2 mins to the exam time to allow for the last post to be played and the minute silence. How disrespectful.
Now to get back to the original post and agree with Paul to all the swaggers who have served or have family members who have THANKYOU

My kids high school didn't pay respect at 11. 'it would interrupt with the year 12's exams.'
The class #1 son was in did though, but not the school as a whole.

Just typing that pissed me off. Now Im even more pissed off after speaking with the staff, confirming that's exactly what happened. 'We had it at different times throughout the day in different parts of the school.'
What a joke.

The important thing is that we remember the bravery, tragedy and sacrifice. Doesn't matter what time.

I don't like the changing of the times, but realistically some forethought may have made it unnecessary, but we need to be reasonable, the act of not forgetting is far more important than the actual time (agreed Dazzler).
Im an ex-grunt, wife is ex-airforce, but I don't hold that against her, too often.....
