General Discussion / Re: The Random Question of the Day Thread...

There’s plenty of them out there & if they do the job that’s all anyone wants. Thing is we all think the one we have is the best, & no one wants to be told that the one they bought is no good, doesn’t matter if it’s a Dashcam or anything else. I tend to spend on the more expensive products & maybe for that reason I’ve been happy with the items I’ve purchased to date.

General Discussion / Re: What did you do in your shed / man cave today?
« Last post by solidute on Today at 09:07:54 PM »
I moved my shed yesterday...

Was only a garden shed but built some time ago when frame was steel and hardwood and the iron cladding was more than 0.2mm thick so it was bloody heavy. Then had to move the 6.5m W x 2.5m H X 2.4m D chook house made from 1 inch galv water pipe 20 metres across the yard to where the garden shed was.

Hard Yakka doing it solo I tell ya. Beer was well deserved last night

Nevermind.

I'm back and apparently technology overtook me in my forum absence and Tapatalk is basically a non event these days.

General Discussion / Tapatalk issue?
« Last post by solidute16 on Today at 08:28:20 PM »
Just wondering if anyone knows of an issue with Tapatalk that means forums no longer recognise users?

I have been fairly absent from forums (trying to keep time spent online to a minimum) but looking for some info so thought I'd jump back on and start contributing again.

Only problem is no logins I have saved work tried resetting passwords to no avail so created a new account (very similar username) to get back into the group.

This is the only group I've created a new account for to get in but none of the ones associated with Tapatalk no longer recognise my old details to login

Sent from my SM-A525F using Tapatalk

Proud Dad moment.
Our girls owning their own cattle after a few years of showing for the school cattle team in Maclean.

Two traditional Simmental steers they have been showing on the local show circuit.

The steers (in the pic) are just under 300 kilos, and have to get to at least 500 kg's to go to auction.

We are smiling because they have worked very hard to break them in and getting them to lead.  :cup:

$500-00  Flaaaark  ??? ??? ???

considering the unit sells for 599 on its own, 500 for unit+remove+fitting seems cheap..

reading up on the sensors... series 1 v 2 apparently a large difference in recording at night... but most just report Sony Starvis - but not what series they use.

I have two BlackVue I think Dr 600 & dr 650 without going out to have a look. SD card packed up on one of them after a couple of years or so. They must be at least 10 years old by now. Haven’t touched them since I retired 7 years ago. Wow maybe they’re older than I thought. I did capture an event on one once & was showing some customer’s the next day, didn’t know one of the local constabulary had walked in & was looking over my shoulder. Said they would be interested in looking at that. They took the whole Dashcam, with my permission. When it was returned the cop said that’s a good camera. The bloke got done for overtaking 7 vehicles on a bend & forcing a car off the road that was coming the other way.
