Those I'm guessing, would be about 400kgs, depending on how tightly they are wound up.  ;) I had rectangular ones from down at Berrigan that went 600Kgs.

As a matter of interest, what happens if it rains? They must get a hell of a lot heavier?

Well that was a Blast from the Past ..Spur of the moment decision to take the Family to ................................................................
A Drive In picture theatre ..
Roughly 70 km away into the Kingdom of Queen PalletJack ..  Reliving the Drive In experience ..Yep same old Wanks not turning their lights off, Foot on the brake, a few modern touches with Beep beep and hazard flashers remote alarms ..
Three concecutive  gunshots somewhere over in the nearby industrial complex got me turning the head " ummm " but all good, Ambo made an appearance some time a little later, Someones day wasnt going  well  .
Yep same grainy slightly out of focus movie on the big screen, Surprisingly the cafeteria food was pretty good ..$10 for a nice and fresh made Hamburger and a decent serve of gems and chips for $7 for the kid and served by pollite happy staff, wasnt too bad I thought ..
The trip down memory lane with the family, after the passing of 38 odd years since last going to a drive in " Priceless " . Thanks Yatala .

Not seeing a snake in the last 48 hours.

Last Saturday. Astrid was in her wood working room.
A big ol Red Belly Black slithered in..... she was good too, stood perfectly still as it passed around 6 inches away from her boots.
Rang the snake guy, he caught Betty and took her away.

Last Sunday, i get home around midday, to find the ol girl a tad upset.
An Eastern Brown was coiled under a chair until she walked by.
Gave a lunge with came up around 10 or 12 inches short, so a warning i think to tell her to piss off.
The little bastard (James) dived into the old hot water cupboard.
Same snake guy, took 3 hours to entice him out..... the snake, not the snake guy.  ;D

Last Monday, Went to my Mums old folks home to pick her up to find the owners and some other fukkwit trying to chop the head off a python.
I spat the dummy, cops were called, all sorts of rattle went on.
The snake by the time i got there, wasn't able to be saved.
The assault charges have no chance of standing up and i'm banned from the old folks home.

Last Friday, Another Red Belly Black shot across the back patio.
He was friggin fast too, but i lost sight of him, so no idea where he went.
We called him Speedy Gonzales ..... fastest snake in all the Lockyer Valley.

Yesterday, Astrid did find a snake skin in the cottage carport, but thats just a tree snake thats changed his clothes.

The flood waters have these guys everywhere at the moment.
Astrid and i, in all our life, have never had so much fun with a 4 foot length of heater hose.
We both have the steely nerves of a cat stuck on a freeway.

OH, we do have 3 different spots for these too.
One out side, one inside and one in the shed.
Proper whizz bang compression bandages.

You should never walk out of the public toilets sniffing your fingers.
