Hi from Broome/Brisbane
« on: July 22, 2011, 09:26:56 PM »
Well thought I should say hi as we have been members for a couple of months now and benefited from a lot of the info on the site.
Working in Broome until August then off for a slow drive back to Brisbane getting back for Christmas to see the kids before setting off again .
We have bought  a new Trackabout  SV extanda after going to  the Newcastle show then the Perth show where we met Tammy who was a great help deciding between our short list of three.
We picked up the CT a couple of weeks ago when we met Tammy half way at Port Hedland who was a great help in showing us the ropes , etc
Off to take it away this weekend for the first time to Middle Lagoon to have a play before setting off in August  to drive the Gibb ( spent 9 days there last year but in a tent ) before backtracking and coming down the WA coast on the way back to Brisbane .

OMG! Look at that trailer! Poor Davo69 washed and polished that trailer for handover, and you went and got it dirty on the way home! Good luck with your trip this weekend! Remember to send me some pics!

Great shots of your new camper, I'd like one of those myself. Prado wheels?
