Hi from Sydney
« on: February 09, 2013, 06:51:25 AM »
Hi all,

Have decided to join after a while lurking and have been real impressed with the info on this forum.

We are a family of 4 (2 kids under 4) who have had our 08 Kimberley kamper for a while. In the process of upgrading before a planned 2-3 month trip for later this year, so the Kimberley is up for sale.

Look forward to getting to know people on this forum and contributing.

Cheers Craig

Hi Rod,

The plan at the moment is to head through the Flinders, up through to the centre to see Uluru, olgas and all there into see and back via south west Qld or north west NSW. Other than the rough route, there isn't really an itinerary and it is very much a suck it an see approach as to how far we get each day.

The idea is to slow down and see as much as we can and spend some quality family time. Also a 2 and nearly 4 year old will probably dictate how many km's we do each day and how often we move.

Currently trying to research typical track conditions between April and June and good camping places to add to the growing list of places that we want to go to.

Cheers
Craig

Craig

Don't forget to post up info as you plan your trip. I am in the planning stages of a trip from Sydney up to Alice, Darwin then back down through central Queensland. Always interested in getting ideas and feedback on what others are doing.
