Time to say Hello from central NSW
« on: September 13, 2011, 10:09:50 PM »
Just thought I would drop in and say hi to you all, like a lot of people here I would also like to make my own off road trailer to put all our camping gear in and have come across lots of ideas to ponder over. It has also created a few questions as well.

We are a family of 6 using two RV5 oztents with swags and a host of other gear that needs carting around while camping hence the upgrade from our covered box trailer (home built) to something more robust to put behind our 80 series cruiser.

Looking forward to being here

Thanks All for the lovely welcome. I guess I should have been more spacific with my location I am at Grenfell so those north of me would class me to be in the south and those south think I am in the north and a lot of people east don't know where I am at all,  so I must be central........in a roundabout way.

As for the trailer it is still very much in the planing stages (news from the tax man dented the "to be built by date" a bit)  but I would like to end up with something similar to whats in the little photo at the bottom of the Tracey family's post. Getting photos on here is new to me so I will have to see what I can do.

Thanks again and yes I will have some Questions

regards, Trevor
