Hi, I have been reading a lot on this forum recently. I have owned a hard floor camper back in the 80’s, but sold it. I have decided to purchase a new MDC rear fold hard floor, a bit more comfort than the tourer tent we have used for the last 15 years. Just waiting on delivery, which is late, just hope it turns up soon.
I had looked at these MDC campers for some time and just could not decide what to do, used or a new MDC. After travelling to Bendigo and missing out on a 6 year old camper, and then travelling to Canberra , almost, to get a call to inform me that that camper was sold, I was over the travel to view deal.
So travelling back through Melbourne we stopped in at MDC, just for another look. After an hour or so, I slapped down the deposit. Now just waiting for delivery. But the good part is I have been busy working and would not have been able to use it yet. It is annoying that delivery dates get blown out though.
I have already made up LED light bars, bought Solar panels and spent another few thousand on the must have comfort items for the other half, just don’t know how she is going to carry all her stuff.
I will just keep reading and getting ideas for mods, must start a list and get a head start with parts I think.
