Title: Another part of Aussie history gone.
Post by: MarkGU on May 04, 2020, 09:30:25 PM: Remembering Steven Walls. Steven was the original Little Boy Lost. He went missing from his family farm near Guyra nsw on Feb 5 1960 aged 3 sparking the biggest man hunt in Australian history. He survived 4 days and nights in bitter cold temps. and was found holding a lamb for warmth. Steven died on the weekend aged 62.

R.I.P. you`re home now.

Post by: noel_w on May 05, 2020, 08:51:34 AM: I actually remember when he went missing. I was only about seven at the time and it was bitterly cold down west of the New England so couldn't imagine how cold the guy was up on the tablelands. That and the subsequent song made a huge impact on me. RIP

Hence the ""Where's my Daddy, Where's my Daddy" cried the little boy lost"

Yep, Steven, as a four year old thought his Daddy was missing and went looking for him. When found four days later was still asking, 'Where is my Daddy?" as he was still looking for his missing Daddy. Sad that he has died.
