Yep, yet another newbie from Melbourne.
« on: May 30, 2011, 09:40:06 PM »
Hi Everyone,
I stumbled across this forum as I was searching for information on bike racks for camper trailers and found some good info contained within here.
I have a Outback Sturt which I brought 2nd hand out of the trading post 3 years ago and since then taken family and it on a number of holidays which have been fantastic.
I'm keen to see what everyone else has don't to their campers and gain some insight to some of the things I want to do to mine. Hopefully I can learn a few things along the way and share some of my own thoughts as well.

And yes Ive take the big hint with the icons above so here it is just after I got it home....

Cheers
Rob

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Embarrassingly right now it travels behind an old EF Falcon which does the job very well for on road camping.  Im actually in the process of very slowly building up my 92 5L Rangie which will eventually by my touring vehicle.

Welcome to Myswag from the far north RobG.  Aren't camper trailers just awesome!
Bit chilly down there?   The last few mornings here have only been just over 10!!  Very cold for us.  But the days have been just gorgeous.
Enjoy your time on the site.  Lots of info to be found.
Cheers

Welcome to another Sturt owner. I have made a few mods to mine and it is a great camper.
Simple but very solid. I added a bike rack to the rear of my camper. Look in the My Camper thread for my thread (Our new (preloved) sturt)

G'day & Welcome

I've got a Birdsville, noticing more and more campers from Outback on here of late. They're not sexy (let's be honest) but they are well made.
