A new gang
« on: December 14, 2011, 09:05:26 PM »
hey everyone, just bought our first off road camper trailer and am very excited. We've done the jayco campers and bunk caravans but having added the 4th child to our clan 10 months ago we've decided the van was to small so sold it and am going to try a camper trailer. Theres certainly more room!! Cant believe the amount of info on this site so its comforting to know theres always going to be help if needed. We only got a galvanised ebay jobby but was all we could afford at the moment and its got everything we need and can always update later if everything works out.

Hi all, just a couple of quick pics. the camper is as u see it, the pajero is 2003 v6, has roof mounted remote face uhf, 7 inch touchscreen polaris stereo wiith ipod, dvd, nav, bluetooth, rear camera(godsend),  roof mounted dvd player connected to the stereo for the kids, arb under bonnet air compressor, lightforce 170's. Not really set up for hardcore 4wding as its gotta be the family car as well. Maybe a 2 inch lift 1 day but convincing the wife is not easy. Great touring car but and have done plenty of good drives which the kids love doing.

Hi 3.8v6lover & Family,

Welcome to the friendliest camping forum this side of the black stump (and probably the other side as well).  It's been said before but I'll say it again ... as long as you are out there, happy, comfy and enjoying it ... who cares what you are doing it in.  Have you done the first trip or are you waiting and planning?  Either way, photo's will be required ... it's a standard around here!

Going on 1st trip in january. Cant wait!!! I love taking photo's so pics wont be a problem. We've always come back from our holidays with hundreds of photo's. And your rite hairs, the kids do love it, the 4yo and 2 9yo have always loved going away and more than likely the 10 month old will to!
