It was a good spot too, in plenty of traffic. I don't have a MySwag sticker on the back, cracked the rear window and need to get one on there again.

Does it count if you spotted them almost a year ago ...

as they were leaving with their camper from down the street from you, and then they joined here awhile ago, and that you didn't even know they existed until they PM'd you asking if you were extremely local (same street) and then finding out you actually were?

So ... if that counts .. then I spotted TheDeckie back then!   :cup:

Morag and I had this Prado in front of us this morning.

I wanted to know who it was so  much to Morags dismay  ;D  we followed them like a bloodhound until they stopped.
We then snuck up and introduced ourselves.
It was nice to meet raw70...

Spent the day at five rocks in byfield nat Pk. Was a few cars on the beach although the nearest was a 100 series about 100 metres away. Got chatting to the driver as they took a walk up the beach. Talk turned to campers as usual and our goldstream long story short I mentioned I had just done the suspension when the question was asked you aren't on myswag are you. Turns out Roo apologise if I got that wrong had flown up from northern nsw for the weekend and was driving the brother in laws 100. Was great to have a chat it was a beautiful day shorts and singlet on the beach enjoying a few cold ones.

Fancy this, last Saturday while travelling with the Cairns 4wd club out driving in the bush up the back of the Western Tablelands on Boonmoo Station, we spotted Matto & his Trackabout and his inlaws camp parked on a creek bank.  I mentioned to Tony that I thought it was matto, but we were in convoy and had sailed past the turnoff and would have caused mayhem if we turned back, so kept going.  Its a small world ;D

That was us allright! When we arrived, we stopped at the homestead and had a chat to Laurelle - she mentioned there were about 15 cars & campers camped down at the close dam. I didn't even know they had the smaller dam, so will have to pick your brain as to what it's like. I love cmaping on the creek, but a bit more water would be fun to paddle a kayak around in.

We took a run up to Stannery Hills dam on the Sunday - last time we were there it was far too busy to have a look around. This weekend, we were the only ones there. Would be a lovely place to camp too, so long as it's not too busy.

Sorry we didn't get to catch up for a chat - next time!
Matto :)
