Pretty Bloody slack when even the Tri Star dealers wont touch their own product  ;D  Heres hoping its just an O ring / washer or something easy and not a cross threaded / stripped nut ..
Hope you have better  times and enjoy  the rest of the trip .
Cheers guys.
On the road again, will do a trip report with more details once we’re back home in a couple of weeks.
Enjoying the offline time for a while. ;)

Not in the theme of the thread really, but i’m bored...currently sitting in a wheelbarrow on site waiting for concrete to show up. It could be an hour yet, might be 2 or more hours (never can tell on a Friday  arvo). This lazing back in the barrow after just getting back from the pub lunch the timber rep just bought us, the least they could do after stuffing up our timber order that ended up with me having Monday and Tuesday off work thanks to that being sorted.

backpackers gave me sh!ts big time on our last visit to Fraser...between the loud dance music they were playing at Champagne Pools amongst the families trying to enjoy the place, and the clowns swimming in the water at Lake Allom (thus stopping the turtles from coming into the viewing area to be seen, the real reason people go to Lake Allom after all), not to mention all the drunk ones we encountered at Eurong shops, i’d had enough of them in the end whilst there. Can’t say they have ever annoyed me on previous visits to the island, but they were very annoying last visit......I must be getting old...lol.

yeah, that goes for me...    older and grumpier...

In that pic of the swarm of BPers at the table...    there were 2 other tables full - the place (HV) was completely overrun - with tag along BPer 4WDs - parked in front of driveways, fences, anywhere...

And entering Eurong earlier same say, I had to enter the village from the wrong side of the track; because there were no fewer than 4 tag alongs stuck, sitting there - because the front one got bogged 20mtrs before the wooden deck / electric dingo grid....

How the freak does that happen???

(Sorry, got a rant going in this thread..).

Wow! :o

BiL has just crossed the Nullabor over the last couple of days & said that diesel was $1.89 at Eucla, $1.90 at Caiguna & $1.61 at Norseman!

Once again, somebody, somewhere, is being ripped off :'( >:(

We came across last week and that was pretty much the prices.
We were told in Ceduna that the same person owns the stations at Nullarbor, Eucla and Caiguna. No idea if that’s true or not.

Leaving camp for the past few days, camped on the banks of Condamine River.
Only downside over the weekend was the about metre long Redbellied Black snake the kids found whilst playing on the river bank about 40 metres to the left of camp)....thankfully it wasn't interested in them and none of them stood on it whilst running around....it slowly slithered off down towards to the water and we just told the kids to stay away from the area it was in (after that is we showed all the kids the snake and then explained the dangers of it, and what to do next time they see a snake and what to do should they get bitten).
Camp pic below from the weekend....
