Black Series Dominator Battery Charging Question
« on: Yesterday at 10:49:30 AM »
A mate has got himself a 2nd hand Black Series Dominator. Now, his tow vehicle is work lease back which is replaced every 2 years or so, so he is not too keen on putting an Anderson plug in regularly in a new vehicle for charging the camper while driving. What are the options available to charge the batteries while driving? Only thing we can think of is solar panels on the top. If this is only/best option, what size would be good, the camper has 2 x 98 amp AGMs and he plans on running just a fridge (50 litre), a few LED lights and usual phone and maybe laptop charging.

Secondly, we can't see a 240v input to charge while parked at home or if at a powered site at a caravan park. Any options out there for 240v charging?

Thanks in advance.

most of them were sold with portable solar panels that had regulators on the panels plugged into Anderson plug on trailer
or get a battery charger for when required for 240v. my setup that came standard with the two batteries and a 160 watt fold up solar panel handled a 95 ltr fridge with kids an never ran short of power
