it wasn't one of the Sniper series from North Coast was it?

they had a deal with ARB and their vans were very ARB'd out at one stage...

Wouldn’t expect any change from a 100k I’d reckon.

Youtube video up.

Notice they don't show putting up the extra awnings after saying that up to that stage it is a one person set up.

Track Trailer are promoting the "Made in Australia" aspect a lot now. (seemingly more so as of this morning...)

Definitely not my style, seems a bit too plastic for me. I can see the attraction of Australia wide warranty/service. Not sure it does enough different from anything else on the market, some good ideas here and there like keeping everything (including spare tyre) inside the camper.
Storage seems a bit light on?

Lack of storage was my initial thoughts as well.
Their custum made, shaped canvas bags (and not very big) have to be, as nothing else would fit in the available spaces.
I was going to comment (negatively) on pantry and fridge layout, but just had a look at Tvan and it isn't much better.

Brochure, including weights https://view.publitas.com/arb-4x4-accessories-1/arb-earth-camper-brochure/page/44-45 (https://view.publitas.com/arb-4x4-accessories-1/arb-earth-camper-brochure/page/44-45)
180kg ball
14??kg tare
1900kg ATM
Never going to overload it!

while I'm a fan of various bags for storage. (your should see my collection of Aldi green canvas bags)

my wife hates the idea... so she wasn't impressed with the ARB camper.

she took one look at the walk around video and said that it looked like a two person Portaloo.

Now I can't unsee that...

Poorly thought-out design. So if its raining in the morning you cant make a cuppa without getting rained on walking from the main section to the cooker.

I think you can once you put up the 25,000 poles and awnings ?

having said that, cant you see that the weather is always BRILLIANT and clear as in every photo in the brochure ;)

ARB will have to do a redesign were the battery is  once the new AS/NZ 3001-2-2022 comes into force later in the year. Battery to be in it own compartment with no other equipment.

Probably another topic all together......what legislation calls up this AS?

This a bit of what is available on the new regs, in their terminology, external battery location mean separated from the habitable area, either exposed or contained in a compartment

Is that for new builds only, or would it also apply to swapping an AGM battery to lithium ???

And what legislation inacts this Aust Std?

It almost reads as ION batteries as they come in may formats
LFP is not directly specified nor any other battery - just talk to the manufacturer

that legislation was actually introduced in July last year.

all manufacturers were given a 12 months grace period.

it is *not* retrospective. (so if you're upgrading from deep cycle to lithium you should be ok)

Each State will have their own enabling legislation for AS3000 & AS 3001.

In Tasmania its Occupational Licensing Act and the accompanying Occupational Licensing (Standards of Electrical Work) COP. 2017
